Position Summary:

Trend Micro is seeking a French speaking Channel Solutions Engineer who is passionate about cybersecurity and AI-powered platforms, excels at enabling and empowering partners, and thrives in collaborative go-to-market environments. In this role, you will work closely with Channel leadership, Solutions Engineering, Product, Marketing, and Partner teams to strengthen our partner ecosystem, elevate partner technical capabilities, and drive joint customer success.

As a trusted technical advisor to our partners, including MSSPs, GSIs, VARs, and strategic resellers, you will shape how they position, demonstrate, and deploy the platform with their customers. You will serve as the technical bridge between partner needs and platform capabilities, driving scalable adoption, shared revenue growth, and long-term advocacy across the channel ecosystem.

Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the primary technical advisor for strategic channel partners, enabling them to evaluate, position, sell, and support our cybersecurity platform.

  • Develop a deep understanding of partner business models, service offerings, and customer challenges to align platform capabilities with high-impact channel outcomes.

  • Deliver impactful demos, presentations, and technical storytelling tailored to partner audiences, including SEs, practice leaders, and partner executives.

  • Build and maintain trusted relationships with MSSPs, GSIs, resellers, and distributors to accelerate joint revenue and expand market reach.

  • Represent the company as a technical evangelist at partner events, joint webinars, trainings, and channel-focused field engagements.

  • Develop high-quality channel enablement content references, including architectures, playbooks, demo flows, videos, workshops, and training assets to scale partner readiness.

  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Product, Engineering, Marketing, Channel, and Customer Success to support channel-driven initiatives and ensure aligned execution.

  • Provide insights to Product Management based on partner feedback, market needs, service-delivery gaps, and emerging cybersecurity trends.

  • Support partner-led Proof of Concepts (POCs), ensuring partners can independently display measurable technical and business value.

  • Maintain deep knowledge of platform capabilities, competitive positioning, upcoming enhancements, and cybersecurity best practices relevant to the channel.

  • Travel within the Canada for partner meetings, enablement sessions, joint customer engagements, and channel events.

Qualifications:

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in cybersecurity, AI, cloud, networking, systems engineering, or related fields.

  • 5+ years of experience in Solutions Engineering, Channel Engineering, Partner Technical Enablement, or Technical Pre-Sales roles.

  • Proven experience working with MSSPs, GSIs, resellers, or other channel organizations.

  • Strong understanding of public cloud technologies (AWS, Azure, GCP).

  • Broad technical acumen across cybersecurity, cloud architecture, networking, AI, risk visibility, and IT modernization.

  • Experience designing/architecting solutions in on-premises, hybrid, and cloud-native environments.

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills with experience training partner technical teams and executives.

  • Demonstrated ability to deliver compelling demos and technical enablement programs.

  • Ability to rapidly learn new technologies and adapt to a fast-evolving cybersecurity landscape.

Bonus Qualifications

  • Experience in a fast-paced SaaS or cybersecurity startup ecosystem.

  • Familiarity with XDR, SIEM, CSPM, CNAPP, MDR, or modern security posture technologies.

  • Hands-on experience with API integrations, scripting, automation, or lightweight coding (Python, Bash, PowerShell).

  • Experience building partner solution offerings, runbooks, or service blueprints.

  • Background in SOC operations, threat hunting, or incident response.

  • Knowledge of compliance frameworks (SOC2, NIST, ISO 27001, PCI, HIPAA).

  • Strong technical storytelling skills-able to simplify complex concepts for diverse partner audiences.

  • Passion for mentoring, training, and scaling technical knowledge across large partner ecosystems.

  • Experience applying AI/ML or LLM/agentic AI to cybersecurity workflows or partner service delivery.

Preferred Certifications

  • CISSP, CEH, CCSP, Security+, CySA+, CISM, CISA, or other ISACA certifications.

  • AWS Solutions Architect, Azure Architect, or GCP Professional Cloud Architect.

  • Kubernetes, DevOps, or Cloud Security specialization certifications.
