Job description

Senior .NET/AWS Developer (Remote - U.S.)
As a Senior Sr Software Engineer .NET/AWS, you will make an impact by developing, implementing and maintain high-quality software solutions . You will be a valued member of the team and work collaboratively with stakeholders and teams.

In this role, you will:
  • We are seeking a .NET/AWS developer with 8+ years of experience to join our .Net development team.
  • The ideal candidate will have expertise in .NET Core and AWS with a preference for those with experience in Asset and Wealth Management.
  • Must have extensive experience in developing E2E .Net solutions using AWS (preferred).
  • The candidate must also have at least 6 months experience in Prompt Engineering.

Work model: Hybrid
Location: Remote (US applicants only)

  • Develop and Implement and maintain high-quality software solutions using NET Core and AWS to meet business requirements.
  • Use Prompt Engineering using the latest available LLM in Copilot for analysis as well as building out .Net solutions
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, implement, and enhance software applications that align with company goals.
  • Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications through rigorous testing and debugging processes.
  • Contribute to the architecture and design of software systems, ensuring scalability and maintainability.
  • Participate in code reviews to maintain code quality and share knowledge with team members.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
  • Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to incorporate best practices into software development.
  • Work closely with stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements, translating them into technical specifications.
  • Implement security and data protection measures to safeguard sensitive information within applications.
  • Optimize application performance by identifying and resolving bottlenecks and performance issues.
  • Document software designs, processes, and code changes to ensure clear communication and knowledge sharing.
  • Collaborate with the Asset and Wealth Management team to integrate domain-specific functionalities into software solutions.
  • Support the deployment and maintenance of software applications in a hybrid work model, ensuring seamless operation.

Salary and Other Compensation:
The annual salary for this position is between $81K - $141 K depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
This position is also eligible for Cognizant's discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant's applicable plans.
