QA Automation Engineer | Enterprise Application Modernization & Azure Cloud Migration (SPEED Project)

REMOTE


About the Role

This role will support a major enterprise application modernization initiative. This role is responsible for designing and maintaining robust automation frameworks, validating software enhancements, ensuring the quality of production fixes, and supporting the migration of legacy applications to modern technologies and Azure Cloud.

The ideal candidate will have experience testing enterprise Java applications, developing automated test suites, and collaborating closely with development teams in an Agile environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain comprehensive automated test suites.
  • Create and execute test cases for new development stories and application enhancements.
  • Validate fixes for production and internally identified defects.
  • Test applications undergoing modernization from legacy technologies to modern platforms.
  • Support quality assurance activities related to infrastructure upgrades and Azure Cloud migration initiatives.
  • Perform functional, integration, regression, and end-to-end testing.
  • Participate in story grooming sessions and help define acceptance criteria.
  • Collaborate with developers, product owners, and stakeholders to ensure software quality throughout the development lifecycle.
  • Document and track defects through resolution.
