Job description

Client: Wealth Management

Position: DevOps & Tools Engineer

Compensation: $110K - $120K + Bonus of $20K-$25K

Location: Camas, WA or Plano, TX or Tampa, FL - ON SITE first 90 days and then 1 day a week WFH

Work Authorization: USC or GC ONLY no other visas will be considered

Education: Bachelor's degree in MIS, computer science, math, or other science field required, advanced degree in a related field

Experience 4 Years:

  • Experience with DevOps tools like GitHub, Jenkins, and Artifactory.
  • Infrastructure automation using Terraform / Ansible.
  • Administration and use of Ansible Tower or Ansible Automation Platform (AAP) for deployments.
  • Scripting skills in languages such as Python, Shell, Groovy, PowerShell, or HCL.
  • Cloud automation across private data centers and public clouds like AWS, Azure, or GCP.
  • Administration of Atlassian tools, specifically Jira and Confluence.
  • Containerization tasks, including Dockerfile/image creation and running containers on Kubernetes.
  • Preferred experience with databases like MSSQL, MySQL, Postgres, or MongoDB.
  • Utilization of monitoring and logging tools like Splunk and AppDynamics.
  • System design expertise focusing on security, performance, high availability, and operational support.

Responsibilities:

  • Work with DevOps and Tools and Application Development Team Lead to define application and integration development processes
  • Configure and support cloud based Atlassian tools
  • Develop tooling and processes to increase automation of development and adherence to security and audit systems and controls
  • Implement strategies for improving or further leveraging DevOps processes and tools
  • Monitor system availability and performance within agreed upon timelines
  • Resolve issues, alerts, and incidents based on predefined service level agreements
