Taiga Motors, une entreprise de technologie et de fabrication de vehicules electriques hors route en pleine expansion, est a la recherche d'un developpeur infonuagique pour concevoir et developper les services applicatifs infonuagiques qui alimentent ses vehicules connectes.


Dans ce role, vous concevrez et developperez des services backend evolutifs qui transforment la telemetrie des vehicules en temps reel en API fiables et en entites metiers robustes. Une portion significative de ce role consiste a ecrire et maintenir du code backend C#/.NET de qualite production.

Ces services sont deployes dans des environnements AWS et Azure a l'aide de Pulumi (Infrastructure as Code). Vous developperez des API sans serveur (AWS Lambda, Azure Functions), gererez des pipelines de donnees IoT et mettrez en uvre des flux de travail orientes evenements.


Ce poste hybride base a Montreal vous permettra de collaborer avec une equipe internationale de developpeurs participant aux projets innovants de Taiga.


Responsabilites :

  • Developpement Backend et API : Concevoir, developper et maintenir des services backend evolutifs en C#/.NET. Developper des API RESTful robustes pour traiter les donnees IoT et les requetes utilisateurs. Participer a la conception d'architectures applicatives distribuees et ecrire du code production teste et maintenable
  • Infrastructure infonuagique : Concevoir et maintenir des environnements cloud securises et evolutifs sur AWS et Azure (VPC, stockage, bases de donnees, reseau, etc.) afin de supporter les services backend.Automatisation et CI/CD : Contribuer aux pipelines CI/CD dans Azure DevOps et GitHub Actions pour le deploiement automatise du code applicatif et d'infrastructure.
  • Collaboration : Travailler en etroite collaboration avec les equipes produit et IoT afin d'integrer les services infonuagiques aux systemes de donnees et dispositifs embarques. Participer aux revues de code, aux discussions d'architecture et encadrer les ingenieurs juniors.
  • Surveillance et optimisation : Surveiller la performance, la fiabilite et les couts des services cloud. Diagnostiquer et resoudre les problemes lies aux applications et a l'infrastructure.
  • Infrastructure as Code : Rediger et maintenir le code Pulumi pour automatiser le provisionnement des ressources cloud necessaires aux applications. Creer des modules reutilisables en .NET ou Python.
  • Architectures orientees evenements et IoT : Concevoir et implementer des architectures orientees evenements (AWS Lambda, Azure Functions, Step Functions, Event Grid). Developper et optimiser des pipelines de traitement de donnees IoT en temps reel.


Qualifications :

  • Programmation : Minimum de 3 ans d'experience significative en developpement backend professionnel. Maitrise avancee de C#/.NET avec experience demontree dans la construction d'applications backend en environnement de production. Experience en developpement d'API RESTful et en conception de systemes distribues. Forte connaissance de Python.
  • Experience infonuagique : Experience pratique en conception et exploitation d'environnements AWS (EC2, S3, Lambda, IoT Core, etc.) et connaissance d'Azure (Functions, IoT Hub, Event Grid).
  • DevOps et CI/CD : Familiarite avec les pratiques CI/CD et les outils comme Azure DevOps ou GitHub Actions. Experience avec la conteneurisation (Docker) est un atout.
  • Travail d'equipe : Excellentes aptitudes en resolution de problemes et en communication. Autonomie et esprit d'equipe.
  • Formation : Baccalaureat en informatique ou domaine connexe, ou experience equivalente. Les certifications AWS/Azure et l'experience IoT constituent des atouts.

Description

Taiga Motors, a rapidly growing off-road electric vehicle technology and manufacturing company, is seeking a Cloud Developer to design and build the cloud-based application services powering its connected vehicles.

In this role, you will design and implement scalable backend systems that transform real-time vehicle telemetry into reliable APIs and domain-driven business services. A significant portion of this role involves writing and maintaining production-grade C#/.NET backend code.


These services are deployed across AWS and Azure using Pulumi (Infrastructure as Code). You will build serverless APIs (AWS Lambda, Azure Functions), manage IoT data pipelines, and implement event-driven workflows.


This hybrid position is based in Montreal within an international team of developers driving Taiga's innovation.


Responsibilities

  • Backend Development & APIs: Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services in C#/.NET. Build robust RESTful APIs to process IoT device data and user requests. Contribute to distributed application architecture and write clean, testable production code.
  • Cloud Infrastructure: Design and maintain secure and scalable cloud environments across AWS and Azure (VPCs, storage, databases, networking) to support backend services.
  • Automation & CI/CD: Contribute to CI/CD pipelines in Azure DevOps and GitHub Actions for automated deployment of application and infrastructure code.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with product and IoT teams to integrate cloud services with embedded systems and data platforms. Participate in code reviews, architecture discussions, and mentor junior engineers.
  • Monitoring & Optimization: Monitor performance, reliability, and cost of cloud services. Troubleshoot application and infrastructure issues.
  • Infrastructure as Code: Write and maintain Pulumi code to automate provisioning of cloud resources required by application services. Build reusable infrastructure modules in .NET or Python.
  • Event-Driven & IoT Systems: Design and implement event-driven architectures (AWS Lambda / Azure Functions, Step Functions, Event Grid). Develop and optimize real-time IoT data processing pipelines.


Qualifications

  • Programming: Minimum 3 years of significant professional backend development experience. Strong experience building production backend applications in C#/.NET. Experience designing REST APIs and distributed systems. Working knowledge of Python.
  • Cloud Experience: Hands-on experience with AWS (EC2, S3, Lambda, IoT Core) and familiarity with Azure (Functions, IoT Hub, Event Grid).
  • DevOps & CI/CD: Familiarity with CI/CD practices and tools such as Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions. Experience with Docker is an asset.
