Experienced Architect

We are seeking an experienced architect with 9 to 13 years of experience to join our dynamic team supporting The Client Company. The ideal candidate will bring strong expertise in Azure DevOps and cloud platforms and play a key role in designing and implementing robust, scalable cloud solutions. This role supports critical digital transformation initiatives and works closely with cross-functional stakeholders in an onsite/hybrid environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and implement scalable, secure cloud architectures using Azure and other cloud platforms to meet business requirements.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of cloud solutions with existing systems.
  • Oversee development and deployment activities using Azure DevOps Pipelines to improve operational efficiency.
  • Provide technical leadership and mentorship to team members, promoting continuous learning and best practices.
  • Analyze and optimize cloud infrastructure to ensure high availability, performance, and cost efficiency.
  • Develop and maintain detailed architecture and process documentation to support compliance and knowledge sharing.
  • Implement and enforce cloud security and governance best practices.
  • Lead migration of on-premises applications to the cloud, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations.
  • Evaluate and recommend new cloud technologies and services aligned with business needs.
  • Partner with stakeholders to define and execute a cloud strategy and roadmap.
  • Monitor and manage cloud resources, proactively identifying and resolving issues.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues related to cloud infrastructure and applications.
  • Stay current with emerging trends and advancements in cloud computing and DevOps.
Required Qualifications
  • Strong hands-on experience with:
    • Azure DevOps Boards
    • Azure DevOps Server
    • Azure DevOps Pipelines
    • Proven expertise with Azure Active Directory (Azure AD).
    • Experience working with one or more major cloud platforms:
      • Azure
      • AWS
      • Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
    • Demonstrated success designing and implementing cloud solutions in a hybrid or onsite work model.
    • Solid understanding of cloud security, governance, and compliance.
    • Strong problem-solving abilities and proven ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment.
    • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
    • Relevant certification preferred (e.g., Microsoft Certified).
