Job Title: DevOps Operations Engineer

Location: Addison, TX, 5 days Onsite

Duration: 6-12 Months+

Job Summary

Key Responsibilities

  1. Provide on-call support (once per week rotation) to ensure production stability and timely incident response
  2. Offer weekend support on a rotational/on-request basis for critical issues and releases
  3. Monitor systems, investigate alerts, and troubleshoot production incidents
  4. Maintain and support CI/CD pipelines to ensure seamless and reliable deployments
  5. Manage and maintain cloud infrastructure on AWS and Azure
  6. Perform server administration tasks including patching, monitoring, and performance tuning
  7. Support and troubleshoot GitHub workflows, including branching strategies and PAT (Personal Access Tokens)
  8. Collaborate with development teams to improve deployment reliability and system performance
  9. Identify opportunities to improve operational processes, automation, and system reliability
  10. Leverage AI-assisted tools for faster incident diagnosis, log analysis, and root cause identification
  11. Contribute to adoption of AI/ML-driven DevOps practices (AIOps) to enhance monitoring, alerting, and predictive issue detection

Required Qualifications

  1. 6+ years of experience in DevOps / Operations / Site Reliability Engineering roles
  2. Strong working knowledge of AWS and Azure cloud services
  3. Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines (e.g., GitHub Actions, Jenkins, Azure DevOps, or similar)
  4. Solid understanding of GitHub branching strategies and access management (PAT tokens)
  5. Experience with Linux/Unix server administration
  6. Strong troubleshooting and incident management skills
  7. Familiarity with AI-powered developer tools (e.g., Copilot, chat-based ops tools, or automation assistants)
  8. Ability to participate in on-call and weekend support rotations
