Georgia IT, Inc. is seeking an Azure Data Engineer to work primarily in the Redmond area. The role involves designing and maintaining data pipelines and models using Azure data services and collaborating with various stakeholders in the data platform team.
Responsibilities:
• Expertise with Azure data services, such as Microsoft Fabric, Azure Analysis Services, Azure SQL Database, Azure Synapse Analytics, Azure Data Lake Storage, Azure Data Factory, Azure Databricks, Azure Stream Analytics, and Azure Purview.
• Ability to Design, configure and maintain Semantic Model settings in the Fabric workspace
• Expertise in maintaining LakeHouse in Microsoft Fabric with clear understanding of access management
• Clear understanding of data pipelines in Fabric and data caching in semantic model
• Ability to design data pipelines, data ingestion, data transformation, data storage, data access, data security, data governance, and data quality using Azure tools and best practices.
• Proficiency in SQL and other query languages, such as T-SQL, KQL, Spark SQL
• Knowledge of data modeling techniques and patterns for relational and NoSQL databases.
