This is on a Capacity and Performance Database Engineering Team. Need someone strong with AzureDB and PostgreSQL. Need someone with an Azure background.

Team size around 5. If everything is going well, this should last longer than a year. Just a long-term, ongoing contract.

Title: Cloud performance Engineer (PostgreSQL and Azure DBs):


Job Description: Responsible for optimizing performance and right-sizing capacity across PostgreSQL and Azure database platforms through data-driven analysis and proactive risk mitigation.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyze workloads and recommend Optimal / Descale / Upscale actions
  • Tune PostgreSQL and Azure database performance
  • Lead post-mortem analysis and continuous improvement efforts
  • Build reporting models with clear, actionable insights and statistical thresholds

Qualifications
