Job description

Job Summary:
Georgia IT, Inc. is seeking a Microsoft BI Developer to work on end-to-end Business Intelligence solutions. The role involves designing and implementing data warehouse solutions, developing reporting and analytics, and providing end-user support.
Responsibilities:
• Participate in the design, development and implementation of end-to-end Business Intelligence Solutions with Azure and the Microsoft BI Stack
• Design and deployment of enterprise data warehouse solutions and dimensional models
• Develop and implement Reporting and Analytics using Synapse and PowerBI
• Design and build ETL processes in On-Prem/Cloud BI solutions and ability to enhance SSIS packages, SSRS Reports, OLAP cubes (SSAS)
• Design and develop database schema, Stored Procedures, Views and work on optimizing database performance of queries and ETL processes
• Provide end-user support by utilizing interpersonal skills to communicate with and instruct end-users on MS BI products and technologies
• Troubleshoot escalated BI issues including data, ETL and SSRS issues
• Assist with development and implementation of a data analytics solution
• Work with database team to optimize database performance of queries and ETL processes.
Qualifications:
Required:
• 4+ years' experience in data warehousing, modeling, end-to-end BI solutions
• Strong understanding of BI Technology Stack (Microsoft Azure), Data Engineering Solutions, Data modeling, and Software Engineering principles and best practices
• Experience with Microsoft ETL tools (Azure Data Factory and SSIS), the SQL Server platform, and the Microsoft BI Stack (Analysis Services, Reporting Services, Power BI)
• Advanced knowledge of SQL and query optimization techniques and approaches
• Experience designing, developing and supporting Power BI data sources and reports
• Experience with SSRS and Power BI Report Builder
• Proficiency with Microsoft personal productivity tools (Excel, Word, Visio)
• Able to work as a team member and willing to work independently when required
• Strong troubleshooting and problem solving skills
• Experience working in an Agile/SCRUM SDLC environment
• Experience with TFS Team tools and Database Projects
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related discipline or proven hands-on experience
