Job description

Job Overview:

Pay Range: $55hr - $60hr

Requirement/Must Have:

  • 12+ years in data architecture, with 3+ years on Snowflake (SnowPro Advanced certification preferred).
  • Deep expertise in dimensional & data vault modeling.
  • Hands-on with Azure Data Factory, dbt, Azure Key Vault, Pulumi IaC.
  • Data Mesh principles (Domain Ownership, Data as a Product, Federated Governance).
  • HIPAA / PHI / PII compliance experience (healthcare/life sciences preferred).

Responsibilities:

  • Design conceptual, logical, and physical data models for 9 source systems and 2 MVP data products.
  • Define Snowflake account architecture (RAW/CURATED/GOLD layers, warehouse sizing, retention policies).
  • Design RBAC hierarchy, Row-Level Security, and column masking policies (SHA-256 hashing for PHI/PII).
  • Own naming standards, service user key-pair authentication, network policies, and MFA enforcement.
  • Review pipeline patterns and enforce Data Mesh interoperability policies.
  • Support ZB InfoSec reviews and HIPAA compliance sign-offs.
  • Guide CI/CD promotion path (Dev → Test → Prod) via Azure DevOps.
