Our client, a leading organization in the energy sector, is seeking a Sr. Data Engineer to join their team. As a Sr. Data Engineer, you will be part of the Data Engineering department supporting cross-functional teams. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong problem-solving skills, excellent communication, and a collaborative mindset, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Sr. Azure Data Engineer

Location: Remote (Must support Eastern Time business hours)

Pay Range: $71-75/hr depending on years of experience

What's the Job?

  • Design, develop, and support scalable cloud-based data platforms and pipelines using Azure services and Databricks.
  • Build and maintain efficient ETL/ELT processes for structured and unstructured data sources.
  • Design and optimize enterprise data warehouses, data lakes, and modern analytics platforms.
  • Create high-quality, secure, and maintainable data solutions following engineering best practices.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions and support cloud migration initiatives.

What's Needed?

  • 5+ years of experience with Microsoft Azure cloud services.
  • 3+ years of hands-on experience with Azure Databricks.
  • 5+ years of experience developing solutions using PySpark.
  • 8+ years of experience in data warehousing and data engineering.
  • Advanced SQL development and database design experience.
