Details:
Position: Azure Data Engineer
Location: Atlanta GA - Hybrid / / Remote also ok
Duration: 12 months
Responsibilities
  • Strong exp in Azure Data Analytics having a thorough understanding of Azure Data Platform tools.
  • Hands-on experience on Azure Platform including Data Factory, Synapse, Data Lake Gen2, CICD, DevOps.
  • Strong exp in SQL Server DB, SQL Server Data Warehouse.
  • Collaborate with project stakeholders like database administrators, technical architects, business analysts, and product owners to determine project needs and plan development and implementation strategies.
  • To create strategies and design solutions for a wide variety of use cases like Data Migration (end-to-end ETL process), database optimization, and data architectural solutions for Analytics Data Projects.
  • To design, develop and troubleshoot highly complex technical problems in OLAP/OLTP/DW, Analytics and provide solutions for Enterprise level Applications utilizing Azure Data Platform.
  • Work on streamlining data flows and data models consistently.
  • Have a keen focus on improving and tuning data quality, accessibility, performance, and security needs.

Skills Required
  • Proficient in the tools: Azure Data Factory, Azure Data Lake, Azure Synapse, Azure SQL DB, MS-SQL
  • Create conceptual, logical, and physical data models for both relational and dimensional solutions.
  • Effectively managing large sets of data for performance, security, and data governance viewpoint.
  • Deep knowledge of a wide variety of database systems and data mining techniques.
  • Experience to build and test physical data models for a variety of use cases meeting performance and efficiency goals.
  • Excellent in Logical and Physical Data Modelling using data modeling tools like Erwin, Enterprise Architect, etc.
  • Experience in Azure Functions.
  • Experience with implementing metadata-driven dynamic Azure pipelines is a plus.
