Location: Newark, NJ (Hybrid  2/3 Days Onsite)
Duration: Long-Term Contract

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Data Architect with strong expertise in AzureMicrosoft Fabric, Azure Synapse, PySpark, Data Lake, and Data Warehouse architecture. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing scalable enterprise data solutions, modernizing data platforms, and enabling advanced analytics capabilities.

 

Required Skills

  • 12–15 years of overall IT experience in Data Engineering/Data Architecture
  • Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Fabric
  • Expertise in Azure Synapse Analytics
  • Strong programming experience with PySpark
  • Experience designing and implementing Enterprise Data Lakes
  • Strong knowledge of Data Warehouse concepts and architecture
  • Experience with ETL/ELT pipelines and large-scale data processing
  • Expertise in data modeling, performance tuning, and optimization
  • Experience working with cloud platforms, preferably Azure
  • Strong understanding of SQL, distributed computing, and data governance

 

Responsibilities

  • Design and architect scalable data platforms using Fabric and Synapse
  • Build and optimize modern Data Lake and Data Warehouse solutions
  • Develop PySpark-based data processing frameworks and pipelines
  • Collaborate with business and technical teams for data integration and analytics needs
