Job description

Understand data flows across Schaeffler Smart Equipment business processes, identifying key data sources, flow paths, and analytics scenarios.

Maintain, develop, and optimize dashboards and analytical reports in Microsoft Power BI to support business decision‑making and operational monitoring.

Communicate with business stakeholders and end users to clarify dashboard and reporting objectives, structures, metric definitions, and delivery priorities.

Collaborate with international development teams in an agile environment to drive requirement refinement, development planning, iterative delivery, and issue tracking.

Develop data models, cubes, tables, views, and related database objects in Microsoft SQL Server and Azure environments.

Build cross‑system data pipelines, develop MSSQL stored procedures, and automate data processing, report refreshes, and operational workflows.

Optimize automation processes and system data quality across multiple Schaeffler Smart Equipment business units to improve data usability and processing efficiency.

Document developed reports, database tasks, and test plans, apply UX design standards, and perform required testing to ensure delivery quality.

Hold a bachelor’s degree or above in science, engineering, or a related field, with over five years of experience in data warehouse development or business intelligence.

Demonstrate strong proficiency in Microsoft SQL and T‑SQL, with hands‑on experience developing stored procedures, functions, tables, views, and complex queries.

Demonstrate strong proficiency in Microsoft Power BI, including DAX and Power Query for data modeling, metric development, and report creation.

Apply knowledge of Microsoft Azure data services, with familiarity in Data Factory and cloud‑based data integration scenarios.

Understand agile development practices and contribute to user story writing, sprint planning, requirement refinement, and backlog management.
