Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement end-to-end data solutions on the Azure platform, including data ingestion, transformation, storage, and analytics.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
  • Develop and optimize data pipelines using Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse, and other relevant tools.
  • Ensure data security and compliance by implementing appropriate measures and best practices.
  • Perform data profiling, cleansing, and validation to ensure data quality and integrity.
  • Monitor and troubleshoot data pipelines to identify and resolve issues in a timely manner.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and advancements in Azure data engineering and recommend innovative solutions to enhance data processing and analysis capabilities.
  • Mentor and provide guidance to junior team members, fostering a collaborative and knowledge-sharing environment.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. Master's degree is a plus.
  • Minimum of 15 years of experience in data engineering, with at least 5 years focus on Azure technologies.
  • Strong expertise in designing and implementing data solutions using Azure Data Factory, Azure Databricks, Azure Synapse Analytics, and other relevant Azure services.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or C#.
  • Solid understanding of data modeling, data warehousing, and ETL/ELT processes.
  • Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases, such as Azure SQL Database and Azure Cosmos DB.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to analyze complex data requirements.
