Overview

We are seeking an experienced Azure Cloud Engineer to support secure government cloud environments and operate, secure, and optimize Microsoft Azure infrastructure supporting Dynamics 365 (D365), Microsoft Power Platform, and UMT.

This role focuses on platform reliability, monitoring, automation, security, continuous compliance, and ATO-aligned controls within Microsoft Azure Government / GCC environments.

The successful candidate will be hands-on, security-minded, highly dependable, and capable of independently driving infrastructure and operational activities with minimal supervision.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support Azure infrastructure within government cloud environments such as Azure Government / GCC / MAG.
  • Administer and troubleshoot Azure compute, networking, and storage services.
  • Monitor platform health, performance, availability, and operational status.
  • Configure and maintain monitoring, alerting, logging, and incident-response processes.
  • Implement security baselines, continuous compliance, and ATO-aligned security controls.
  • Manage SSL certificates and application registration credentials/secrets.
  • Support secure lifecycle management of application registrations and associated secrets.
  • Manage log retention, storage optimization, and cloud cost-management activities.
  • Support infrastructure changes, patching, maintenance, and release coordination.
  • Participate in automation and DevSecOps pipeline activities.
  • Support infrastructure modernization and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Collaborate with application, security, DevOps, and government stakeholders.
  • Troubleshoot production issues and participate in incident response.
  • Maintain technical documentation, operational procedures, and compliance evidence.
  • Work independently and drive assigned technical efforts through completion.
Required QualificationsEducation
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related technical discipline.
Experience
  • Minimum 3+ years of hands-on Microsoft Azure experience supporting enterprise-level platforms.
  • Experience supporting Azure infrastructure in government or regulated cloud environments.
  • Experience with Azure compute, networking, and storage.
  • Experience with platform monitoring, alerting, incident response, and operational support.
