Job description

We’re currently seeking an experienced Azure Cloud Architect to join our client’s Cloud Architecture & Strategy team.
This role is ideal for someone who excels in designing scalable, secure, and well-governed Azure cloud environments, while also helping drive multi/hybrid-cloud strategy and Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) maturity across the organization.


Role Overview

The Cloud Architect will be responsible for developing cloud architectures, frameworks, governance standards, and policies to support enterprise transformation initiatives.
You’ll collaborate with business and technical teams to design secure, scalable, and cost-optimized Azure solutions, and guide engineering teams in implementing those architectures.

This position also involves working on hybrid/on-prem integrations and contributing to the organization’s Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) and automation initiatives.


Key Responsibilities
  • Design Azure-based architectures aligned with security, compliance, and business requirements.

  • Develop cloud governance frameworks, standards, and best practices.

  • Assess on-prem workloads for cloud suitability and define migration roadmaps.

  • Document designs and frameworks using Microsoft Visio and other tools.

  • Define and implement disaster recovery (DR) and backup strategies.

  • Promote Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform, ARM, Pulumi) and automation via CI/CD pipelines.

  • Collaborate with DevOps, Security, Networking, and Finance teams to ensure seamless cloud operations.

  • Support multi-cloud and hybrid connectivity, including VPNs and ExpressRoute.

  • Ensure FinOps practices and cost governance using Azure Cost Management.

  • Implement cloud security and compliance controls following CIS, NIST, and ISO 27001 frameworks.
