TravelNurseSource is working with Concentric Healthcare Staffing to find a qualified Med/Surg RN in Goodland, Kansas, 67735!

Job Title

RN - Medical Surgical

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Nights (6:00 PM โ€“ 6:00 AM) | Onsite

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care in a Medical Surgical setting at a Critical Access Hospital (CAH)
  • Float to the Emergency Room as needed; some shifts may be primarily Med Surg while others may involve more ER activity
  • Adapt to a variety of patient presentations as this facility operates as a CAH, meaning staff care for whatever patient needs arise
  • Document patient care accurately using Athena EMR
  • Collaborate with a team that includes nurses, a CNA, and a staff secretary on the floor
  • Maintain patient ratios, typically around 1:3 but not exceeding 5:1
Required Qualifications
  • Active Kansas state license or multistate (Compact) RN license
  • BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC certifications โ€” all must be American Heart Association (AHA)
  • Ability and willingness to work in both Med Surg and Emergency Room environments
  • Comfort working in a Critical Access Hospital setting
Preferred Experience / Skills
  • Previous travel nursing experience preferred; first-time travelers will be considered
  • Candidates with fewer than 3 years of experience may be considered
  • Familiarity with Athena EMR
