Raintree Golf and Event Center, located in Uniontown, OH, is pleased to announce an excellent career opportunity for a part-time Cook! We are seeking a driven individual who is eager to learn, contribute, and grow within a fast-paced hospitality-focused property organization. As part of Troon, you will contribute to a global leader in golf and community management.
Role Type:
Seasonal (Position will last 6 months or less)
General Purpose:
Prepares various food products for restaurant and banquet operations for guest consumption and enjoyment. This position requires adherence to all procedural guidelines established by the Food Service and Safety Department.
Essential Duties:
Education/Experience:
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Physical Demands:
Frequently stands, uses hands, talks, hears, tastes, and smells. Regularly walks and reaches with hands and arms. Occasionally sits, climbs, balances, stoops, kneels, crouches, or crawls. Regularly lifts up to 50 pounds and occasionally lifts up to 100 pounds.
Environment/Noise:
Regularly works in extreme heat (non-weather) and near moving mechanical parts. Occasionally works in extreme cold (non-weather), wet or humid conditions (non-weather), near toxic or caustic chemicals, and in outdoor weather conditions. Noise level is moderate.
Certificates/Licenses:
Food Safety and Sanitation Training.
Job Knowledge, Skill, and Ability Preferences:
Ability to read and speak English may be required in order to perform the duties of the job (e.g., associates may be required to communicate with English-speaking customers or co-workers; equipment manuals are in English).
