Responsibilities:
- Perform Ayurvedic massage therapy sessions tailored to the individual needs and preferences of clients.
- Conduct client assessments to determine the most suitable Ayurvedic massage techniques.
- Utilize knowledge of Ayurvedic principles, anatomy, and physiology to enhance massage treatments.
- Administer Ayurvedic oil massages, Shirodhara treatments, and other specialized Ayurvedic therapies as needed.
- Assist in holistic pain management and overall health improvement through targeted Ayurvedic massage therapy.
- Maintain accurate client records and notes on treatment sessions.
Qualifications:
- Massage Therapist license in the state of California (preferred).
- Proven experience in providing exceptional massage therapy services.
- Proficiency (or a keen willingness to learn) in Ayurvedic massage techniques, such as Abhyanga and Shirodhara.
- Understanding of principles of anatomy, and physiology.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to tailor treatments to individual client needs.
Preferred Skills:
- Expertise in Ayurvedic therapies and treatments.
- Knowledge of Ayurvedic medical terminology.
- Experience in holistic health assessments.
- Familiarity with other therapeutic modalities, including deep tissue and trigger point therapy.
- Proficiency in administering various Ayurvedic oil treatments.
