Join our team in Oconomowoc or Menomonee Falls, WI! Ace Precision is hiring a skilled CNC 5-Axis Milling Setup Machinist to set up and operate CNC Milling Centers to machine repetitive work on metallic parts. **ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

**

  • Works from and interprets fairly complicated sketches, routings, and product specifications to determine product dimensions and tolerances, sequence of operations, and setup requirements.

  • Conceptualizes multiple axis movement, up to and including five axis.

  • Sets up, adjusts, verifies programming, and operates CNC Milling Centers and tools.

  • Detects machining operation malfunctions and out-of-tolerance dimensions.

  • Recognizes and reports process variations, operational and tooling sequences, tool offsets, dimensional and finish deviations, and assists with making corrective adjustments within prescribed limitations.

  • Operates multiple machines concurrently in order to maximize efficiency and effectively utilize resources.

  • Maintains close and exacting tolerances and finish specifications.

  • Verifies conformance of finished work piece to specifications through the use of various inspection measuring equipment, including bore gages, rail gages, and ID and OD micrometers. Utilizes SPC charts to report variations in processes.

**EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

High school diploma or general education degree (GED), with minimum of two years related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
