We are currently seeking a Full Time Registered Nurse (Triage & Support) at Brunswick Hills OBGYN located in East Brunswick, NJ. 

Office Hours - 7AM-5PM, with evening hours available on Thursday until 7PM.

The person hired will be responsible for the coordination of patient care and an important participant in policy and procedure implementations as they relate to medical services for nursing staff, primarily via the telephone.

Other job duties include but are not limited to:

  • Evaluates and assesses patient’s health care needs based on patient’s signs and symptoms utilizing established triage protocols and guidelines
  • Obtains appropriate input and direction from the provider as needed to determine best clinical course of action and recommendations for specific patient health care
  • Accurately documents symptoms/complaints, nursing assessment, advice provided and patient/caller response. Follows policies, procedures, and protocols to ensure consistency and departmental effectiveness as well as improve health care outcomes of patients/callers and their access to appropriate health.

Experience and Education:

  • Degree from an accredited nursing program
  • Current New Jersey licensure as a Registered Nurse
  • CPR certification
  • Minimum of 1 year experience working in a medical facility, preferably in an OB/GYN setting.
  • Knowledge of CPT coding, lab specific order sets, and eCW are beneficial.

Pay or shift range: $30/hour to $38/hour
The estimated range is the budgeted amount for this position. Final offers are based on various factors, including skill set, experience, location, qualifications and other job-related reasons.
