Job Title: Wi-Fi Test and Automation Engineer

Location: Philadelphia, PA

Duration: 6 / 12 Month Contract

Job Description:

Role Overview:

  • -Strong experience (5–8+ years) in device testing, wireless networking or broadband hardware.
  • -Perform end‑to‑end user experience testing of gateways, Wi‑Fi extenders, and home networking devices, covering functional, performance, regression, and interoperability scenarios.
  • -Design, develop, and maintain automation frameworks and test scripts (Java, cucumber) to increase coverage and efficiency.
  • -Validate Wi‑Fi technologies including 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac/ax, mesh networking, band steering, roaming, and wireless backhaul.
  • -Analyze and troubleshoot issues across end-to-end
  • -Work with protocols such as DHCP, DNS, IPv4/IPv6, NAT, TCP/UDP and other connectivity standards.
  • -Drive automation strategy, improve test processes, and contribute to continuous integration/continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines.
  • -Collaborate closely with development, product, and architecture teams to ensure high‑quality, stable releases.
  • -Conduct root‑cause analysis, identify quality gaps, and recommend improvements.
  • -Mentor junior engineers, provide technical guidance, and help shape test strategy at a product/feature level.
  • -Excellent communication, problem‑solving, debugging, and documentation skills.

Key Responsibilities
