Job description

We are seeking a highly skilled Software Developer to join our team at our Assumption, IL facility. As a software developer, you will perform tasks related to the design, development, testing, and deployment of software. Our team develops internet connected grain storage monitoring products for farmers. You will work with the Winnipeg team on developing our GrainVue system, grain dryer controls, and related products. This involves embedded systems, wireless sensor networks, a variety of Amazon Web Services (AWS) technologies and APIs, and customer and internal web interfaces.
Your Impact
  • Develop GrainVue, GSI Connect, and related systems by designing, developing, documenting, testing, deploying, and monitoring features and functionality.
  • Your day will be focused on backend development that powers our products both on device and in AWS while stepping into front end development as needed.
  • Assist in troubleshooting software operating in a live system environment.
  • Support new product development (NPD) and current product (CP) work.

Your Experience and Qualifications
  • Bachelor of Science degree (or higher) in Computer Science
  • Minimum of 3-5 years relevant experience developing & supporting a distributed full-stack system

Your Compensation and Benefits
Expected annual salary for this role will be $70,000 - 90,000, plus eligible for an annual bonus. This is dependent upon job related knowledge, experience, and skills.
