We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Technical Project Manager with a strong technical foundation and over 10 years of experience to join our team in Houston, TX. The ideal candidate will lead cross-functional teams and manage complex technology projects with a strong emphasis on cloud-native application modernization, data engineering, and analytics. This role requires both strong leadership skills and hands-on technical knowledge in system design, cloud platforms, and Agile practices.

What Will You Be Doing?
  • Lead and manage multiple technology transformation projects from initiation to completion, ensuring timely delivery within scope and budget
  • Define project objectives, scope, deliverables, and timelines in collaboration with stakeholders across business, data, and technology domains
  • Develop detailed project plans with key milestones, dependencies, and resource allocations.
  • Drive end-to-end execution of cloud migration and application modernization initiatives, ensuring alignment with enterprise architecture standards.
  • Coordinate and lead data engineering and analytics projects, ensuring data pipeline reliability, data governance, and analytics readiness
  • Manage Agile delivery teams, facilitating sprint planning, backlog grooming, retrospectives, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Identify project risks, constraints, and bottlenecks, and implement mitigation strategies proactively.
  • Ensure stakeholder alignment through structured updates, dashboards, and timely communication.
  • Discuss technological solutions with clients, including tech stacks, databases, systems design, and architecture to ensure optimal project solutions.
  • Act as the key liaison between client and delivery teams, articulating technical solutions and business value clearly.
  • Oversee projects involving onshore-offshore collaboration, ensuring effective coordination, task tracking, and knowledge transfer.
  • Work closely with cloud architect, business analyst, data engineers, quality engineer, and developers to ensure optimal technology stack choices and scalable design solution
  • Conduct post-project evaluations to assess performance, document lessons learned, and refine best practices.
  • Provide expert guidance and ensure that both technical and business teams are aligned with project goals.
  • Engage directly with clients for effective client engagement, understanding their needs, expectations, and providing timely updates on project progress.
  • Coordinate and manage projects from an India-USA offshore perspective, ensuring smooth communication, alignment of tasks, and timely delivery across both teams.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 10+ years of project management experience, preferably in a technology-focused environment.
  • Strong technical background with hands-on experience in software development, system design, or architecture.
  • Proven track record of successfully delivering complex projects on time and within budget.
  • Strong communication skills both oral and written are essential for engaging with diverse teams and stakeholders at all levels.
  • Proven experience managing cloud-based solutions (e.g., Azure, AWS, GCP) and modernization of legacy applications .
  • Hands-on understanding of data engineering , ETL pipelines , and data analytics workflows .
  • Proficiency in project management tools and methodologies (Agile, Scrum, PMP certification a plus).
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
  • Exceptional problem-solving skills and the ability to make critical decisions under pressure.
  • Willingness to relocate to Houston, TX.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience managing technology development or integration projects.
  • PMP, CSM, or SAFe certification.
  • Proven leadership in managing large-scale, cross-functional initiatives.
  • Prior experience managing data modernization , cloud data platforms , or AI/ML analytics initiatives .
  • Understanding of DevOps, CI/CD, and infrastructure automation concepts.
  • Experience working in regulated or enterprise-grade environments (e.g., banking, healthcare, energy).
