Job description

Amazon Web Services (AWS) is seeking an experienced Senior Account Manager to join our Enterprise Games vertical, supporting a portfolio of named enterprise gaming accounts in the entertainment capital of the world. This is a strategic quota-carrying role responsible for driving revenue growth, deepening customer relationships, and accelerating cloud adoption across some of the industry's largest and most complex game publishers, platform companies, and interactive entertainment enterprises.
As a member of the Games District C team based in Los Angeles, you will own a defined territory of named enterprise accounts and serve as the primary commercial relationship owner - driving full-lifecycle engagement from net-new workload acquisition through expansion and renewal. This role carries a $15M+ annual revenue quota and requires a proven ability to manage large, complex customer relationships at scale.
Key job responsibilities
- Revenue Ownership: Own and deliver against a $15M+ annual revenue quota by driving new workload migrations, expanding existing customer footprints, and securing long-term commitments
- Account Strategy: Develop and execute territory and account plans that identify whitespace, prioritize high-value opportunities, and align AWS solutions to customer business outcomes
- Customer Engagement: Build and maintain executive-level relationships (CTO, VP Engineering, VP Infrastructure, Studio Heads) across your portfolio; serve as a trusted advisor on cloud strategy
- Pipeline Generation: Proactively build and manage a qualified pipeline (3x+ coverage) through prospecting, partner engagement, event follow-up, and cross-sell/upsell motions within existing accounts
- Cross-Functional Orchestration: Coordinate internal resources including Solutions Architects, Partner teams, Specialist sellers, ProServe, and ISV/Channel partners to deliver customer outcomes
- Industry Expertise: Develop deep knowledge of the gaming industry - including game development lifecycles, live services operations, player analytics, and emerging trends (GenAI for games, UGC platforms, cloud gaming) - to position AWS as the platform of choice
- Forecasting & Reporting: Maintain accurate pipeline and forecast data in Salesforce; contribute to weekly/monthly business reviews with clear narratives on deal progression and risk
