What are AWS Databricks Terraform jobs?

AWS Databricks Terraform jobs involve using Terraform, an Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tool, to automate the deployment and management of Databricks workspaces and resources on Amazon Web Services (AWS). Professionals in this role write and maintain Terraform scripts that define infrastructure components, manage configurations, and ensure scalable, repeatable deployments of Databricks environments in the AWS cloud. This helps organizations streamline analytics workflows, improve efficiency, and reduce manual errors when provisioning big data and machine learning platforms.

How do AWS Databricks Terraform engineers typically collaborate with data scientists and DevOps teams?

AWS Databricks Terraform engineers play a crucial role in bridging infrastructure and analytics teams. They often work closely with data scientists to provision scalable Databricks clusters and ensure seamless data pipeline deployments. Collaboration with DevOps teams is common for automating infrastructure management using Terraform, enforcing best practices for code versioning, and maintaining secure, repeatable environments. Regular cross-team communication helps ensure that infrastructure meets both performance and security requirements while supporting evolving data workflows.
