What is an AWS data center?

AWS Data Centers are highly secure and scalable physical facilities that house the servers and equipment supporting Amazon Web Services’ cloud infrastructure. These data centers are strategically located around the world to ensure high availability, low latency, and data redundancy for AWS customers. They are designed with robust security measures, including physical controls and environmental protections, to safeguard customer data and maintain uninterrupted service. AWS Data Centers form the backbone of cloud computing services such as storage, computing power, and networking.
