Nous recherchons actuellement un DCEO Technical Infrastructure Project Manager (TIPM) pour soutenir nos centres de donnees dans le cluster YUL (Montreal, QC)

Il/elle devra obtenir et suivre les soumissions pour tous les couts necessaires, coordonner les travaux avec les fournisseurs et les intervenants internes, et documenter les resultats des projets pour permettre leur mise en uvre future dans d'autres centres de donnees.

We are currently seeking a DCEO Technical Infrastructure Project Manager (TIPM) to support our data centers in the YUL cluster (Montreal, QC). The TIPM is responsible for managing small-to-medium operational improvement projects from planning to completion within operational data centers

This role serves as the dedicated project delivery resource for the YUL cluster, handling projects that fall outside the scope of the Critical Projects Implementation (CPI) team but require dedicated project management beyond Facility Manager bandwidth.
The successful candidate will be the focal point for project coordination across YUL sites, ensuring that operational improvements are planned, scoped, budgeted, executed, and documented efficiently. They will obtain and track quotes for all necessary costs, coordinate with vendors and internal stakeholders, and document project results for future implementation at other facilities.
Key job responsibilities
Gestion de projets : Assurer la gestion de projets d'amelioration d'infrastructure et operationnels, de petite a moyenne taille, de la planification a la livraison, sur les zones de disponibilite YUL (YUL50AZ, YUL51AZ, YUL55AZ).
Soumission et budgetisation de projets : Recevoir les demandes de projets de divers groupes (Facility Managers, Chief Engineers, equipes regionales), analyser le perimetre et la faisabilite, obtenir les prix et les soumissions, et inscrire les projets dans le systeme pour approbation budgetaire annuelle.
Definition du perimetre et budgetisation : Obtenir et suivre les soumissions pour tous les couts de projet ; elaborer des plans de projet avec un perimetre, un echeancier, un budget et des besoins en ressources clairement definis.
Coordination des fournisseurs : Gerer les relations avec les fournisseurs, obtenir des soumissions, coordonner les travaux sur site et assurer une livraison de qualite.
Gestion des intervenants : Travailler en etroite collaboration avec les Facility Managers, les Chief Engineers et les EOT pour cerner les besoins de projets, communiquer les progres et eliminer les obstacles.
Documentation : Documenter les resultats des projets, les enseignements tires et developper des procedures normalisees pour permettre leur mise en uvre future dans d'autres centres de donnees.
Visites de site et inspections : Effectuer des visites de site regulieres pour identifier des opportunites d'amelioration operationnelle et suivre l'avancement des projets en cours.
Securite : Veiller au respect de toutes les procedures de securite par les fournisseurs et les employes d'Amazon pendant l'execution des projets ; maintenir une mentalite forte centree sur la securite en premier.
Suivi et reporting : Fournir des rapports reguliers sur l'etat d'avancement des projets au Cluster Manager ; signaler les risques et faire remonter les problemes de maniere proactive.
Collaboration : Collaborer avec les equipes CPI, Commissioning, Procurement et Construction pour les transferts de projets et la definition des limites de perimetres partages.
Amelioration continue : Identifier des pistes d'amelioration des processus et proposer de nouveaux projets qui renforcent la fiabilite, l'efficacite ou la securite des sites.

Project Management: Manage small-to-medium infrastructure and operational improvement projects from planning to completion across YUL Availability Zones (YUL50AZ, YUL51AZ, YUL55AZ)
Intake & Budgeting: Receive project requests from various groups (Facility Managers, Chief Engineers, regional teams), analyze scope and feasibility, obtain pricing/quotes, and submit projects into the system for yearly budget approval
Scoping & Budgeting: Obtain and track quotes for all project costs; develop project plans with clear scope, timeline, budget, and resource requirements
Vendor Coordination: Manage vendor relationships, obtain bids, coordinate on-site work, and ensure quality delivery
Stakeholder Management: Work closely with Facility Managers, Chief Engineers, and EOTs to identify project needs, communicate progress, and remove blockers
Documentation: Document project results, lessons learned, and develop standard procedures for future implementation at other facilities
Site Walks & Inspections: Conduct regular site walks to identify operational improvement opportunities and monitor active project progress
Safety: Ensure all safety procedures are adhered to by vendors and Amazon staff during project execution; maintain a strong safety-first mindset
Reporting: Provide regular project status updates to the Cluster Manager; flag risks and escalate issues proactively
Collaboration: Partner with CPI, Commissioning, Procurement, and Construction teams on project handoffs and shared scope boundaries
Continuous Improvement: Identify process improvements and propose new projects that enhance site reliability, efficiency, or safety
A day in the life

You'll balance multiple concurrent projects across YUL sites, ranging from minor facility upgrades to equipment replacements, always maintaining clear communication with the cluster leadership team.
