Job description

Job Summary (List Format):
- Design and implement end-to-end AWS solutions, focusing on database products, using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) with Terraform.
- Build, maintain, and optimize reusable Terraform modules, manage states, workspaces, and remote backends, and implement environment promotion patterns (minimum 7 years’ experience).
- Architect secure, scalable, and highly available AWS environments across multiple accounts and regions.
- Integrate and automate CI/CD pipelines using Bitbucket (pipelines and runners) and Terraform Enterprise, ensuring quality gates and approval processes.
- Design, implement, and govern Terraform Enterprise workspaces, policy-as-code (Sentinel/OPA), variable management, and VCS-driven workflows.
- Provide deep expertise in AWS database services (such as RDS/Aurora, DynamoDB, DocumentDB, ElastiCache, OpenSearch), including high availability, disaster recovery, performance tuning, and cost optimization.
- Design and manage AWS IAM roles, policies, permission boundaries, SCPs, cross-account access, and federated/SSO integrations with a focus on least-privilege access.
- Develop and manage AWS networking components: VPCs, subnets, route tables, NAT/IGW, Transit Gateway, VPC endpoints/PrivateLink, security groups/NACLs, DNS (Route 53), and hybrid connectivity options (VPN/Direct Connect).
- Ensure security and compliance through encryption (KMS), secrets management, audit logging, monitoring, and adherence to enterprise controls.
- Utilize automation tools such as Ansible playbooks for configuration management and post-provisioning orchestration (a plus).
- Collaborate using tools like Github, Bitbucket, Jenkins, XLR, and CodePipeline for version control and CI/CD processes.
