As Sr. SDM, you will lead the path to realize this vision, and own end-to-end engineering for Amazon RDS for Oracle and Oracle Database@AWS.
Amazon RDS for Oracle is optimized for total cost of ownership, and helps enterprise engineering teams focus on innovation by eliminating time-consuming database administration tasks such as provisioning for high availability, monitoring, software patching, backups, scaling, and disaster recovery.

Oracle AI Database@AWS enables customers to migrate their on-premises Exadata infrastructure to AWS, run Oracle Exadata infrastructure and Oracle Autonomous Database Serverless inside AWS data centers, establish low-latency connectivity from applications running on AWS, and integrate with AWS services such as Amazon CloudWatch for monitoring and AWS Key Management Service for database encryption.
Key job responsibilities
As Sr. SDM for Amazon RDS for Oracle and Oracle Database@AWS, you will
- Define and drive the technical roadmap, working backwards from customer problems to develop innovations that make AWS the leading cloud service to run Oracle database workloads
- Own operational health and metrics - availability, security, durability, reliability, and latency, establishing mechanisms for continuous improvement.
- Build partnerships with engineering teams across AWS and Oracle, own technical decisions that balance innovation with reliability and operational efficiency.
- Champion AI-first development practices,, build and mentor multiple high-performing engineering teams, fostering a culture of continuous learning, customer obsession, and operational excellence.
- Recruit and develop top talent, creating clear growth paths and coaching engineering managers and engineers across multiple levels.
