What You'll Do in the role:
  • Lead the delivery of Generative AI and AI-enabled solutions for Morgan Stanley at Work.
  • Partner with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
  • Design, develop, and enhance AI applications, APIs, integrations, and workflow automation tools.
  • Support GenAI use cases using LLMs, enterprise search, RAG, vector databases, and AI platforms.
  • Manage end-to-end project delivery, including planning, execution, testing, release, and production support.
  • Drive Agile development practices, backlog management, and coordination of onshore/offshore resources.
  • Ensure solutions meet governance, security, privacy, compliance, and Responsible AI standards.
  • Monitor solution performance, define KPIs, and continuously improve user adoption and business outcomes.
  • Collaborate with technology, product, risk, compliance, and business teams across the organization.
What you will bring to the role:
  • 6+ years of experience in software development, technical analysis, solution delivery, or data integration.
  • Experience building or supporting Generative AI, LLM, AI automation, or intelligent workflow solutions.
  • Strong requirements gathering and business analysis skills, with the ability to translate business needs into technical solutions.
  • Experience with SQL, data modeling, ETL/data integration, and relational databases.
  • Proficiency in Python and experience with APIs, application development, and system integrations.
  • Knowledge of Agile methodologies, SDLC, DevOps practices, CI/CD, and source control tools.
  • Understanding of security, data privacy, governance, risk, and compliance requirements.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills across technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Bachelor's degree (or equivalent experience) in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, Finance, or a related field; financial services experience preferred.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with Kubernetes, FastAPI/Flask, LangChain, LangGraph, RAG, vector databases, and enterprise search.
  • Knowledge of Azure, Snowflake, Tableau, Power BI, Dataiku, or similar analytics platforms.
  • Experience in financial services
  • Familiarity with AI governance, LLMOps, automation/RPA, and cloud-native technologies.

New York only: Expected base pay rates for the role will be between $85,000 to $120,000 per year at the commencement of employment. However, base pay if hired will be determined on an individualized basis and is only part of the total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include commission earnings, incentive compensation, discretionary bonuses, other short and long-term incentive packages, and other Morgan Stanley sponsored benefit programs.
