Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough and comprehensive assessments to evaluate clients’ mental health concerns. This includes formulating accurate clinical diagnoses and developing tailored treatment plans that incorporate clients’ goals and aspirations.
  • Deliver individual, couples, and family therapy using evidence-based modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and other recognized therapeutic approaches.
  • Provide crisis intervention and immediate support to clients experiencing acute mental health emergencies, facilitating access to necessary resources and referrals as needed.
  • Maintain meticulous and confidential client records that comply with HIPAA regulations, including documentation of assessments, treatment plans, and progress notes.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, engaging with psychiatrists, social workers, and medical professionals to coordinate comprehensive care tailored to clients' needs.
  • Educate clients and their families on mental health challenges, treatment options, and community resources available to them while advocating for their needs and rights.
  • Stay updated on current trends, research, and best practices within mental health therapy, actively participating in professional development and workshops.
