Location: Everett, WA | Payrate : $33.43 - $37.15 | Schedule: Flexible to work all shifts and OT
PDS Tech Commercial is partnering with a leading aerospace organization to hire experienced Avionics Technicians who are ready to take ownership of complex aircraft systems and deliver excellence with minimal supervision. If you are highly skilled in avionics maintenance and thrive in a precision-driven environment, this is your opportunity to contribute to mission-critical aerospace operations.
Role Summary
As an Avionics Technician, you will perform complex, routine, and non-routine repairs, inspections, and installations of avionics systems on aircraft. Working with limited supervision, you will apply advanced technical knowledge to ensure aircraft safety, reliability, and operational readiness. Your expertise will directly impact quality, performance, and on-time project delivery.
Key Responsibilities
  • Repair, modify, install, and maintain all avionics systems within budgeted or estimated timeframes
  • Perform complex wiring, routing, termination, and testing with a high degree of accuracy
  • Interpret and execute Engineering Orders (EOs) precisely and cleanly
  • Accurately read and interpret maintenance manuals, service bulletins, wiring diagrams, system schematics, drawings, and other technical documents
  • Apply strong working knowledge of Airbus ESPM systems
  • Troubleshoot and isolate defective components using advanced diagnostic and deductive reasoning skills
  • Properly utilize and maintain avionics test equipment and hand tools
  • Operate ground support equipment such as power carts and Hi-Reach equipment as required
  • Assist Leads with planning, production, and quality assurance of assigned projects
  • Support the training and development of technicians
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment

Required Qualifications
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Minimum of 5 years of recent, relevant avionics experience, or equivalent combination of education and training
  • Strong proficiency in wiring, routing, termination, and testing
  • Proven troubleshooting and diagnostic capabilities
  • Ability to interpret and apply technical documentation and engineering drawings
  • Experience performing both routine and non-routine avionics maintenance with minimal assistance

Preferred Qualifications
  • Airframe and/or Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) license
  • Experience with Airbus ESPM systems
  • Recent Airbus aircraft experience (required - only candidates with Airbus experience will be considered)
  • Leadership or mentoring experience
