South Sioux Animal Hospital is seeking a full-time Associate Veterinarian to join our growing, privately owned practice in South Sioux City, Nebraska.

Our hospital is equipped with advanced diagnostic and treatment capabilities, including:

What You'll Do

  • Provide high-quality medical care, diagnostics, and treatment for companion animals
  • Perform routine and complex medical examinations and develop treatment plans
  • Perform soft tissue surgery and dental procedures (orthopedic procedures based on experience)
  • Prescribe medications and recommend preventive care protocols
  • Communicate clearly and compassionately with clients regarding diagnoses, treatment options, and follow-up care
  • Collaborate closely with veterinary technicians and support staff to ensure excellent patient outcomes
  • Maintain accurate medical records within AVImark
  • Contribute to a positive, team-oriented practice culture
  • Stay current on veterinary best practices and continuing education

Education & Licensure

  • Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM or VMD) from an accredited veterinary school
  • Licensed or eligible for licensure in Nebraska (within 60 days of start date)

Experience, Fit & Training

  • Experienced veterinarians and new graduates are welcome and encouraged to apply
