Job Description:
Job Summary
Responsible for monitoring project progress, tracking milestones, allocating resources, and providing regular status updates to stakeholders. Coordinates equipment, materials, and vendor services to ensure efficient project execution. Manages project budgets and expenses, ensuring cost-control and adherence to financial guidelines. Facilitates internal and external stakeholder communication, supports documentation of construction projects, and ensures compliance with standards.
Essential Functions
• Monitors project schedules and tracks key milestones to ensure timely completion of construction and renovation initiatives.
• Allocates resources including equipment, materials, and subcontractor services to maintain workflow and project efficiency.
• Manages project budget and expenses, implements cost-control measures, and ensures adherence to financial guidelines.
• Coordinates internal meetings, external vendor/contractor reviews, and status reporting with the Executive Director of Facilities and Director of Project/Construction Management.
• Communicates design plans, project schedules, budgets, and progress reports to senior leadership via verbal, written, and graphic formats.
• Works with accounting and finance teams to organize, document, and process daily construction project accounting activities.
• Serves as point of contact for construction project management: develops timelines, critical milestones, identifies key roles across the medical center.
• Creates and maintains RFPs, bids, and status reports for current and upcoming construction projects.
• Coordinates with other disciplines, vendors, and contractors to ensure incorporation of all project requirements and supports issue resolution.
• Ensures construction documentation meets hospital and best-practice standards, responds to RFIs, issues RFQs during construction phases, and tracks resolutions.
• Reviews project cost, budget forecasts, and schedule adherence in collaboration with contractors and internal stakeholders.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered. All experience must be paid and in the same related field. Part-time and PRN experience will be prorated based on hours worked per week. Volunteer work and internships for academic credit are not counted.
