Location: Huntsville, AL

Clearance: Active DoD Secret Clearance (Required)

Salary Range: $90,000 โ€“ $140,000+

Position Overview

We are looking for a Software Engineer specializing in OpenGL to join our team in Huntsville, AL. This role focuses on high-performance graphics rendering, simulation, and tactical display software development for next-generation defense systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, and optimize 3D graphics rendering engines and user interface pipelines using OpenGL.

  • Develop real-time simulation, modeling, or radar/tactical visualization software using C/C++.

  • Collaborate with system architects to integrate graphics applications with embedded system hardware.

  • Debug, profile, and optimize GPU/CPU code for low-latency, real-time performance.

Qualifications
  • Clearance: Active DoD Secret Clearance is required.

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field.

  • Experience: 3+ years of handsโ€‘on software development experience with C/C++ and OpenGL / GLSL.

  • Skills: Solid foundation in 3D linear algebra, vector math, shaders, and rendering pipelines.

  • Bonus: Experience with Vulkan, DirectX, Linux environments, or defense simulation frameworks (e.g., OpenFlight, DIS/HLA).
