BETA Composite Technicians are responsible for creating all the composite tooling and parts.
As a Composite Technician at BETA Technologies, you will be working as part of a team of engineers and technicians responsible for creating all composite tooling and parts in house, along with managing necessary materials and supplies, and maintaining the composite shop facilities.
How you will contribute to revolutionizing electric aviation:
  • Working hands-on in a shop environment, as a team member, on a range of composite fabrication tasks.
  • High Attention to detail.
  • Ability to accurately record job progress in ERP applications.
  • Excellent work ethic.
  • Effective use of power tools, air tools and hand tools safely and efficiently.
  • Composite parts fabrication using prepreg carbon fiber materials, wet layups and vacuum infusion.
  • Large-scale bonded and fastened composite assemblies.
  • Layup and/or infusion of carbon fiber tools for composite parts.
  • Experience building items requiring detailed, hands-on craftsmanship.
  • Organize and maintain composites area including work centers, tools, fabric racks, etc.
  • Assist with timeline management and keep necessary teams updated on status and progress.

Minimum Qualifications:
  • Experience with some form of composite processes.

Above and Beyond Qualifications:
  • Perform all tasks in a safe and responsible manner.
  • Work with a high level of independence, quality and integrity.
  • Maintain a work area in a clean, orderly, and organized manner.
  • Flexibility to pivot between tasks throughout the work day.
  • Automotive Body Skills a plus.
  • 2+ years experience.

Physical Demands and Work Environment:
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
