An Aviation CDL refers to a Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) required for driving commercial vehicles that transport aviation-related goods, equipment, or personnel. Professionals with an Aviation CDL often work at airports or for aviation companies, moving fuel trucks, baggage carts, or other specialized vehicles safely and efficiently. Earning this license requires passing written knowledge tests, a skills test, and meeting federal and state requirements. Holding an Aviation CDL ensures that drivers are qualified to handle the unique challenges and safety considerations present in aviation environments.
