Part-Time Market Merchandiser
Location: Rockville, NC
AVI Foodsystems is seeking a dependable, customer-focused Part-Time Market Merchandiser to join our team in Rockville, NC. In this role, you'll service micro market locations by stocking products, maintaining attractive displays, monitoring inventory, and ensuring each market is clean, organized, and ready to provide an outstanding customer experience. Responsibilities
  • Service assigned micro market locations by stocking food, beverages, and other merchandise.
  • Receive and organize deliveries at customer locations.
  • Rotate products and ensure proper freshness, quality, and refrigeration of all applicable items.
  • Maintain clean, organized, and visually appealing market displays.
  • Monitor inventory levels and communicate product replenishment needs.
  • Remove expired, damaged, or unsold merchandise.
  • Perform routine cleaning and basic maintenance of market equipment and fixtures.
  • Build positive relationships with customers by providing friendly and professional service.
  • Follow all food safety, sanitation, and company standards.
  • Travel between assigned customer locations as needed.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • Customer service, merchandising, retail, food service, or stocking experience preferred but not required.
  • Ability to work independently while managing multiple locations.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Friendly, dependable, and customer-focused attitude.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with customers and team members.
  • Basic math skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to lift up to 40 pounds and frequently bend, reach, push, pull, and stand throughout the workday.
  • Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record preferred.
