Job description

Modern Technology Solutions, Inc. (MTSI) is seeking a Test Engineer / Analyst to join our growing team in Las Vegas, NV.
Responsibilities:
• Research and study available documentation, both on-hand and online, related to intrusion detection sensor technologies and COTS equipment, within the scope of the customer mission.
• Create/review test engineering documentation: Requirements Documents, Test Design and Plans, Test Information Sheets, Safety Packages, Test Cards, and Test Reports.
• Plan, coordinate, and execute tests as a Test Director/Test Coordinator across multiple organizations, locations, and systems.
• Reduce and analyze test data; determine and report on results.
• Work closely with and direct as necessary, a small electronics team.
• Occasional travel to vendors' facilities to perform reviews and factory acceptance testing.
Required Experience:
• Minimum of 2 - 5 years of relative experience. Candidates with additional years of experience will be considered.
• Experience with directing ground tests and monitoring performance parameters.
• Experience with mobile radar, EO/IR optics, and ground-based sensor systems.
• Experience with hardware and software testing/evaluation.
• Experience with battery and solar power technologies.
• Able to provide integrated engineering support for design reviews, test planning working groups, test card preparation, disciplined test execution, and post-test analysis and reporting.
• Work well in a team environment as well as independently and have above average verbal and written communication skills.
• Position requires willingness and ability to accept changing and evolving roles and responsibilities in support of customer requirements and needs.
• Must be proficient in all Microsoft Office software applications.
Qualifications Desired:
• Experience/background with software programming
• Knowledge of radar parameter measurement and spurious signals detection
• Experience with data analysis tools/aptitude to learn new software tools
• Experience with Electromagnetic interference and compatibility (EMI/EMC) testing
• Knowledge of physical security and access control screening technologies
Education Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in technical field or equivalent required.
Clearance Requirements:
• Current Top-Secret clearance required (SCI Eligibility desired)
• US Citizenship required
