Job Description
This is a senior-level field position that requires an individual who has in-depth knowledge of the commercial construction industry, managing people and expectations, and running a safe and efficient job site. You will be responsible for working with our Project Manager and Project Coordinator to manage and oversee the day-to-day execution of construction at the job site. You will be overseeing and scheduling subcontractors, suppliers, deliveries, inspections, and the like.
This is a traveling position, with average project durations of 10-14 months. There are many variables in our industry that impact our "Return Home" practices; in any event, we strive to be fair and accommodating in balancing the needs of you, our business, and the project.
Qualifications
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • 5+ years experience commercial construction superintendent.
  • Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, or related field preferred.
  • Proficient in reading and interpreting plans, specs, contracts, safety regulations, maintenance instructions, etc.
  • Proficient with ProCore, Bluebeam, iAuditor, and Microsoft products.
  • Must be able to produce a quality product safely, within budget, and on schedule.
  • Valid driver's license.
