Job description

Donovan Marine is a world class wholesale marine supply company servicing all of New York state. We are looking to add hard working and driven individuals to our team of drivers.

Delivery drivers for the Finger Lakes and surrounding areas

Position is seasonable, work thru November 21st depending on workload

Should be based in the Farmington area

Home nights and weekends

20 - 40+ hours a week

Pay rate: $22.00

Required availability:

Tuesday thru Friday

Ideal candidate should be able to drive vehicles ranging from a van to a 20’ straight truck, and meet the following job requirements:

  • Self-starter
  • Have reliable transportation
  • Highschool diploma or equivalent
  • CDL B license (preferred but not required)
  • Clean driving record
  • Lift at least 50 lbs. and move packages up to 500 lbs. safely using supplied equipment

Ability to use the following equipment:

  • pallet jack
  • hydraulic fold away liftgate
  • drum / barrel cart
  • e-track load straps and load bars

Summary

As a Delivery Driver, you will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently to various locations, ensuring timely deliveries while maintaining high standards of customer service. Reporting to the Logistics Manager, you will utilize your core skills in driving and heavy lifting, along with premium skills in commercial driving and warehouse experience. Your relevant skills in moving, loading and unloading, and operating different vehicle types will enhance your effectiveness in this role.   • Perform routine vehicle inspections and report any maintenance issues.
  • Assist in warehouse tasks as needed, including inventory management and organization.
