Job Summary / Purpose

As a Bartender, you are responsible for providing excellent client experiences,
facilitating shop flow, following Bartender Non-Negotiables and reporting daily sales
results. We expect our Bartenders to be committed to contributing to the success of the team and the shop.

Essential Job Functions

Lead client experience from check in to check out ensuring Drybar standards are upheld
Check clients in and out through Booker
Maintain highest degree of ethics when handling client payments and Stylist tips/commissions
Troubleshoot any Booker issues and make changes to client profiles when needed
Manage Phones and ensure all Voicemail messages are answered in a timely fashion
Elevate scheduling concerns to Customer Service team when necessary
Check notes section of Booker for any special client requests

Manage shop flow including pairing clients with Stylists and managing break schedules for Stylists in the absence of or by request of the Shop Manager
Serve complimentary beverages to our clients
Maintain shop cleanliness
Restock retail displays and maintain display cleanliness
Merchandising and inventory projects as assigned
Provide exceptional service
Create a bar-like atmosphere by engaging with clients and team members
Maintain clear communication with shop management about overall shop operations
Sell products, tools, and memberships
Maintain punctuality for all scheduled and picked up shifts and come to work prepared for the job
Contribute to a positive shop atmosphere
Attend any mandatory shop meetings

Train new Bartenders: thoroughly educate new Bartenders on Booker, Drybar’s core values, Bartender Non-Negotiables in order to set up new hire for success in the role
