Job description

The Department of Visual Art, Division of Arts and Humanities at Lorain County Community College is looking for adjunct instructors to teach a variety of introductory Digital Arts courses, including Digital Imaging, Digital Illustration, Computer Programming for Artists, 2D Animation, and 3d Modeling and 3D Animation.  Instructors will teach digital arts fundamentals to students in animation, photography, graphic design and game design in our recently updated Mac Lab using the Adobe Creative Cloud, Autodesk Maya, Processing p5.js, Unity and other industry standard software.  Our lab is located in the PC Campana Center for Ideation and Invention, where students and faculty have open access to large format printers, laser cutters, audio recording, a virtual reality CAVE, a variety of VR/AR headsets, 3D printing, and our SuperFab Lab.  

Qualifications include Masters in the discipline or a Masters and 18+ credit hours, MFA preferred, teaching experience or demonstrated training experience, proficiency in the appropriate software, and excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
