Job Description

Clinical Duties
✔ Prepare surgical treatment rooms with periodontal instruments
✔ Assist during surgical and non-surgical periodontal procedures
✔ Take and process periodontal radiographs (periapical/bitewing)
✔ Perform periodontal charting and maintain accurate records
✔ Manage infection control protocols (HLD, autoclaving, sterilization)
✔ Provide chairside assistance (suctioning, instrument passing)
Patient Care & Administrative Duties
✔ Educate patients on post-operative care instructions
✔ Take dental impressions as needed
✔ Maintain HIPAA/OSHA compliance
✔ Manage patient records and documentation

Salary Range

Part-time $23 - $25 per hour

Requirements

Current Massachusetts Dental Assistant license
Radiology certification

Preferences

1+ years of periodontal/surgical assisting experience
Experience with periodontal charting
Familiarity with digital radiography
