What are AVCPs?

AVCP stands for 'Attestation of Conformity of Performance,' which is a system used in Europe to demonstrate that construction products meet the required performance standards set out by relevant regulations, such as the Construction Products Regulation (CPR). The AVCP system involves assessing and verifying the consistency of a product's performance through testing, certification, and ongoing surveillance. The level of involvement by manufacturers and notified bodies depends on the specific product and its intended use. Understanding the AVCP level required for your product is crucial for legal market access within the European Union.
