Job Description:

Position Summary:
The Technology Principal works with the AV partnership team to lead decision-making on the technological interests of the firm and to advise on deals. They are responsible for ensuring convergence of the team's technological vision,
designing and implementing technology strategies, and ensuring that the technological resources are aligned with the company's business needs.

Primary Responsibilities:
Assisting in data collection, analysis, investment planning and developing value models and business cases
Participating in assessments of existing and potential initiatives
Performing and documenting research as requested by Airbus Ventures partnership
Participating in Global and Regional Deal Reviews, supporting the Investment Committee on invitation
Fully engaging in deal sourcing, diligence and deep dives - globally
Building and continuously refreshing an analytical framework library
Driving content for and implementing internal and external tech events
Providing tech reviews on specific deals on request to the Investment Committee
Writing and contributing to investor briefings on tech trends
Writing, soliciting and editing Airbus Ventures technology related publications
Aligning internal and external technological resources to meet the firm's short and long-term needs
Ensuring all technology practices adhere to regulatory standards

Qualified Experience / Skills / Training:
Education: Ph.D. or equivalent , preferably with active links to the research community


Experience:

Minimum of ten years' experience in a technological role


Licensure/Certifications:

Relevant technical certifications are desirable
