Position Overview:
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented AV Service Technician to join our team. This role is open to both junior and experienced candidates. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working directly with clients in high-end residential and professional corporate environments, providing service, maintenance, and troubleshooting support for audio-visual systems while consistently meeting and exceeding company standards.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair AV systems including audio, video, control, surveillance and networking components
  • Perform routine service calls, system maintenance, and upgrades
  • Provide on-site technical support in both residential and corporate settings
  • Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, both verbally and in writing, to resolve issues and explain solutions
  • Maintain and exceed company standards for professionalism, performance, and client satisfaction
  • Actively pursue ongoing learning and skill development to increase personal effectiveness and overall value to clients and the company
  • Document service activities, issues, and resolutions accurately
  • Collaborate with installation and engineering teams when needed

Qualifications:
  • Junior Candidates:
    • Basic understanding of AV systems or related technical field
    • Strong willingness to learn and develop technical skills
    • Effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Experienced Candidates:
    • Proven experience servicing AV systems in residential and/or corporate environments
    • Strong troubleshooting skills across AV, control systems, and networking
    • Ability to work independently and manage service calls efficiently
    • Strong verbal and written communication skills
    • Demonstrated commitment to continuous learning and professional growth

Requirements (All Candidates):
